When you combine the reasonable prices of the condos with the low, low, low interest rates, the condos become a fabulous buy. There is a big difference in paying 8% for 30 years, or 6% for 15 years on a $100,000 loan. The amount that goes to principal $380 compared to $70. Over the term of the loan, you will pay $42,343.00 interest compared to $164,153.00, total payments of $142,342.00 compared to $264,053. How about monthly payments? 15 year = $790.79 PI monthly compared to 30 year = $733.76. Not a bad investment for $57.03 per month.
One of the best buys in the country for a “Second Home” is at the World of Tennis. The condos were built in the ´70´s, but have been renovated and redecorated to current colors. Combine this with over a million dollars of exterior improvements planned over the next three years, these condos at $80 - $100 per sq. ft. are excellent buys. Most of the condos are in the 2,000 sq. ft. range priced from low $150´s to $250´s depending on the condition and size. Many of them include furniture.

All of the condos require a two night minimum and the luxury condos require a
three night minimum. Additional nights are at a discounted rate equal to the weekly rate.
In the winter months December - January other than Christmas-New Years Holiday, there is a discounted rate equal to the weekly rate t after the first night, except for some of the Luxury Condos which have a discount after the second night.
Departure Cleaning Fee - The cleaning fee is $80 (2/2), $90 (3/3), & $100 (4/4).

Resort Rental Program
Offset 50-75% of your costs with our Resort Rental Program. Many of our owners live in Texas using their condos during the year, but like some of the costs paid by renting it through our program when they are not using it.
Not everyone in the midwest realizes the quality of our weather in Austin/Lakeway, but those that do have found the World of Tennis Condos to be a great winter retreat. The snow birds have stopped short of the Valley and Florida. While Austin/Lakeway weather is not perfect, there are only a few freeze days a year. Most of the winter is perfect for golf and tennis.
Being able to buy a condo from the $175,000 to $250,000 range, use if in the winter months (slow time), rent it in the spring, summer, fall, (prime time) makes a great combination for midwest buyers. Refer to our "Resort Rentals" page to preview our rental rates.
Even though the above scenario is should be the best potential buyers, over the past 25 years, the majority of the buyers have come from the Dallas or Houston areas.
1.9 Million Dollar Renovation - World of Tennis Condos
The Board of Directors and Homeowner´s Assocation approved the renovation of the exterior of the World of Tennis Condominiums. While this project was two years in planning, it is now complete. The Association has completely replaced the exterior of the buildings. Stone has been added at the ends of each of the complexes in lieu of wood fences. The front walks have been removed and new walks built. Now completed, the buildings look better than they did new and the trees are definitely taller.
While we have been renovating the interior of the World of Tennis Condos since 1985 spending from $10,000 to over $50,000 per condo, it was time for the exteriors to have the same type of attention.
With the construction completed, we hope to add 10 additional units to our Resort Rental Program. The various floor plans are shown above on the third web page. We have interior pictures of various condos at the World of Tennis shown through out this web location.
